We need to determine whether 46461 is sufficient or whether something more is needed.

Can we consider the current changes enough, or is there anything else needed? I would like to make sure the implementation is finished before cherry-picking everything into qtwk-2.1.

After some talks it has been agreed that all pending tasks have been finished. If tests show there's something missing, please open a new bug.
