This works for me with a local debug build of r42820 on Mac OS X 10.5.6. The image is huge, so it takes a while before it fully loads and starts looping.

I have loaded subsequent nightly builds and the weather data is again visible.
CPU usage goes from around 4% to between 50...70% when the weather data appears and trying to scroll the huge display. Page scroll is nearly a second behind input making impossible to gradually move the view to desire locations.
Further when selecting "Report Bugs to Apple" typing inputs will be nearly a second behind actual key strikes.
