The commit hash is the one thing in the PR description that can't be easily replicated manually or with the prepare-commit-msg hook. Can we get rid of it?
Once we have completed the migration away from svn and are not rebasing the branch onto trunk, I don't see why it's valuable. The PR branch has all the commits that were merged.
